The Summersville R-II school district uses a student information system called LUMEN. This system allows you to have Internet access via a Parent Portal for viewing your child's grades, breakfast and lunch accounts, discipline and health information. The data will be private and secure.
We hope to facilitate the communication between school and home with this system. As your child progresses through his/her education, this access will allow you to be actively involved in your child's education. If you have not signed up and would like to do so, you may download the document (Parent Request) from the link below.
Complete the information concerning your child/children, and the parent/guardian information and send the form to the school office of your oldest child or scan the signed form and email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your login and password information will be mailed to you or emailed to you (please provide an email address). This information will remain active throughout your child's/children's years at Summersville.

The district uses School Messenger as our school notification system. Parents can be reached through voice, text or email based on preference. School Messenger receives contact information through our Lumen Student Information System, so it is very important that your contact information is current.

Copies of the Title 1.A LEA Plan and the Schoolwide Program Plan are available for patron viewing in the superintendent's office in the high school building and in the principal's office in the elementary building.
